My motivation for losing weight had a lot to do with turning 50. The empty nest was approaching and I didn’t want to have an inactive retirement. I needed to turn my life around. I wasn’t going to be that person that settles. Just because I’ve turned 50, doesn’t mean I’ve turned off my goals. When you’re carrying an extra 40 pounds every step hurts. They don’t anymore! I started this the week before thanksgiving. Lost most of my weight through the holiday season, and by valentine’s I was pretty close to my weight loss goal. I did it through holidays, I did it through vacations and was able to stick with it.
