Oven Roasted Green Beans Recipe
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 10 green onions
- 2-3 large garlic cloves, smashed and cut in half lengthwise
- 1 teaspoon fresh sage, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon Morton® Lite Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place green beans in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
Trim bottoms of green onions and then cut enough of the green top off so that the green onion is similar in length to your green beans. Then slice in half vertically and add to bowl with green beans.
Add garlic, sage, rosemary and thyme. Toss with hands to mix ingredients well, then add salt and pepper and toss again.
Cover a baking sheet with foil and coat with a thin layer of olive oil. Scatter beans onto baking sheet and cook in preheated oven for 20-40 minutes, or until beans are browned and caramelized. Mix beans at least once during cooking for even browning.
