Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want when booking accommodations! The best way to eat while you are away from home is to eat as if you were at home. Plus, buying some healthy groceries at the store and cooking in your hotel room with save you money on dining out!

Try to get some extra steps in while you are vacationing. On the beach? Take a 30-minute seaside jog or walk in the morning to boost your metabolism. In a cabin? Explore your surroundings by taking a short hike with the family. At a hotel? Swimming is an excellent workout, and treading water alone can burn lots of calories. Integrating these simple steps into your day will help you and your family have a healthy vacation. Replace sedentary interest with movement-based activities that will be fun for the whole family. Cut the card game in half and play a game of toss on the beach or take a swim in the ocean!
Staying on track on vacation doesn’t have to involve deprivation.
